Admission Eligibility

  1. A non-Korean national whose parents are BOTH non-Korean nationals.
  2. Applicant who has completed, or is expected to complete all regular educational courses equivalent to Korean elementary, middle, and high school.
  3. A non-Korean national who satisfies the language proficiency requirements.

Student Visas

Students enrolled in degree programs at Korean universities may be eligible for a D-2 student visa. Visa eligibility and requirements are determined solely by Korean immigration and the university.

Scholarship Information

  1. Korean Track: applicants who meet the necessary TOPIK score requirement.
  2. English Track: applicants who meet the necessary IELTS or TOEFL IBT score requirement.

Sasang-gu

The Gwaebeop–Sasang area, more commonly known as Sasang-gu, where Silla University is located, is a quiet and practical residential neighborhood in western Busan. The area features affordable dining options, local cafés, and everyday amenities, creating a calm atmosphere away from the busiest parts of the city while still remaining convenient.

Gwaebeop–Renecite Station on the Busan–Gimhae Light Rail Transit Line is the closest station to campus, while nearby Sasang Station, served by Busan Subway Line 2 and the Light Rail, functions as a major transportation hub. These connections provide easy access to central areas of Busan such as Seomyeon and Haeundae.

Yes. Applicants are required to submit proof of language proficiency.
Applicants from English-speaking countries are exempt from this requirement. Applicants from non-English-speaking countries who completed their education in an English-speaking country are still required to submit English proficiency test results.

Yes. Applicants must have a TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) Level 3 or higher. Applicants with TOPIK Level 2 are required to complete 400 hours of Korean language training.

Silla University has one application round per semester, which takes approximately six weeks to finalize.

Tuition is paid on a per-semester basis.

Unless otherwise stated as “copy,” all documents must be original. If a document cannot be reissued or the original is unavailable, a notarized copy may be accepted.

Yes. Dormitory applications are accepted on a per-semester basis (16 weeks).
Fees range from KRW 750,000 to KRW 1,300,000 depending on the room type and meal plan.

Silla University is known for its generous scholarship system. Currently, the university offers two types of scholarships for undergraduate students: for new students, scholarships are based on language proficiency. Please contact us for more information.
