    Admission Eligibility

    1. A non-Korean national whose parents are BOTH non-Korean nationals
    2. Applicant who has completed, or is expected to complete all regular educational courses equivalent to Korean elementary, middle, and high school.
    3. A non-Korean national who satisfies the language proficiency requirements.

    Student Visas

    Students enrolled in degree programs at Korean universities may be eligible for a D-2 student visa. Visa eligibility and requirements are determined solely by Korean immigration and the university.

    Yes. Applicants are required to submit proof of language proficiency.
    Accepted minimum scores are as follows:
    • IELTS: 5.5
    • TOEFL iBT: 71
    • New TEPS: 327
    • CEFR level B2

    Yes. Applicants must have a TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) Level 3 or higher, or Level 3 or higher on Konkuk University Seoul Campus’s Korean Language Test. Applicants with TOPIK Level 2 are required to complete 300 hours of Korean language training.

    Konkuk University has two application rounds. The first round takes approximately three months to finalize, while the second round takes about two months.

    Tuition is paid on a per-semester basis.

    Unless otherwise stated as “copy,” all documents must be original. If a document cannot be reissued or the original is unavailable, a notarized copy may be accepted.
    Please note that if any submitted materials contain false information, admission will be revoked immediately, and readmission will not be permitted.

    Yes. Dormitory applications are accepted either on a per-semester basis or a six-month basis.
    Fees start from KRW 2,000,000, including the deposit, and vary depending on room type and meal plan.

    Konkuk University offers four scholarships for newly enrolled students:
    • Outstanding International Students: Based on language proficiency.
    • Outstanding International Students (STEM): Awarded to the top-scoring STEM applicants.
    • Outstanding International Students (International): Awarded to the top-scoring applicants from the International College.
    • Konkuk University Language Institute Completion Scholarship: For applicants who have completed two or more semesters of the regular Korean course at Konkuk University.

    No, Konkuk University does not require interviews as part of the admission process.
