    Admission Eligibility

    1. A non-Korean national whose parents are BOTH non-Korean nationals
    2. A student who has completed, or is expected to complete primary and secondary education at the time of application (Vocational schools are included).
    3. A non-Korean national who satisfies the language proficiency requirements.

    Student Visas

    Students enrolled in degree programs at Korean universities may be eligible for a D-2 student visa. Visa eligibility and requirements are determined solely by Korean immigration and the university.

    Applicants with a GED, homeschooling, or alternative degrees are not eligible for admission. Please contact us for further details.

    Yes. Applicants are required to submit proof of language proficiency.
    Applicants from English-speaking countries are exempt from this requirement. Applicants from non-English-speaking countries who completed their education in an English-speaking country are still required to submit English proficiency test results.

    Accepted minimum scores are as follows:
    • IELTS: 5.5
    • TOEFL iBT: 71
    • New TEPS: 327

    This depends on your chosen major. Some fields require a higher TOPIK level.
    Applicants applying with the Sejong Language Program must meet additional requirements.

    Accepted minimum scores are as follows:
    • Creative Studies, Arts and Physical Education majors: Level 2
    • Korean Language and Literature, Media and Communication, Business Administration: Level 4
    • Others: Level 3

    Sejong University has two admission rounds, and each round takes approximately two months to finalize.

    Tuition is paid on a per-semester basis.

    Unless otherwise stated as “copy,” all documents must be original. If a document cannot be reissued or the original is unavailable, a notarized copy may be accepted.
    Please note that if any submitted materials contain false information, admission will be revoked immediately, and readmission will not be permitted.

    Yes. Dormitory applications are accepted on a per-semester basis (approximately six months).
    The dormitory fee is approximately KRW 1,600,000 per semester.

    There are two scholarships available for new students:
    • Sejong International Scholarship A: Awarded based on language proficiency scores.
    • Sejong International Scholarship B: For students from the Sejong Language Center at Sejong University (additional requirements apply).

    The campus offers a range of facilities, including a library with study spaces and book borrowing services, a gym, a cafeteria, and a sports field available for rent, among others.
