Admission Eligibility

  1. A non-Korean national whose parents are BOTH non-Korean nationals
  2. A student who has completed, or is expected to complete primary and secondary education at the time of application (Vocational schools are included).

Student Visas

Students enrolled in degree programs at Korean universities may be eligible for a D-2 student visa. Visa eligibility and requirements are determined solely by Korean immigration and the university.

Campuses & Location

Gwanak

The Gwanak area, home to Seoul National University, is a spacious and green district at the base of Gwanaksan Mountain, offering a calm academic environment distinct from central Seoul. The area is primarily residential, with student-focused facilities and local services.

Seoul National University Station, named after the university, and Nakseongdae Station (Line 2), are connected to the campus by shuttle buses, providing access to major areas of Seoul.

Yeongeon Campus

The Yeongeon Campus is located in Daehakro, central Seoul, and is home to SNU’s College of Medicine, Dental College, and affiliated hospitals. The area is known for its medical, cultural, and academic institutions, offering a more urban campus setting.

Hyehwa Station (Line 4) and nearby bus routes provide convenient access across Seoul.

Pyeongchang Campus

The Pyeongchang Campus is situated in Gangwon Province and focuses on agriculture, life sciences, and environmental research. Surrounded by natural landscapes, it provides a research-oriented environment distinct from SNU’s urban campuses.

The campus is accessible via intercity transportation from Seoul to Pyeongchang and nearby areas.

Siheung Campus​

The Siheung Campus, located in Gyeonggi Province, serves as a hub for research, graduate education, and industry collaboration. It features modern facilities and emphasizes interdisciplinary and future-oriented studies.
